It is our pleasure to invite you to the WestMED National event in Mauritania that will take place on October 31 2023 in Nouakchott.

Next to  providing an overview of the activities and results achieved by the WestMED Initiative so far and an outlook for tomorrow, we will also look at the latest developments of the newly formed  Mauritanian Maritime Cluster (steps taken and challenges), include a living lab organised by  REBOOT-MED  and identify project ideas to promote the Blue Economy in Mauritania.

The outcomes will also serve as input for the  5e Sommet Arabe pour le Développement économique et social : planned for February 2024 in Nouakchott (originally November 2023)
