An information session on the call for expression of interest for new Thematic Smart Specialisation Partnerships (TSSPs) is taking place in the context of the S3 Community of Practice (S3 CoP); the European Commission’s major source of support for impelementation of smart specialisation strategies.
It offers a unique platform for S3 practitioners, experts, policy makers and other key stakeholders to participate in a bottom up and region-centric network.
It encourages discussions on S3 policy and implementation and facilitates the exchange of valuable information and best practices.
This session is specifically dedicated to the presentation of the S3 Thematic Platform for Sustainable Blue Economy and related opportunities.
It is scheduled with the aim to support regions and their stakeholders looking top establish new sustainable blue economy partnerships under this platform.
- Provide a general introduction to the S3 CoP, the S3 Thematic Platforms, the Thematic Smart Specialisation Partnerships (TSSPs), as well as the services offered and forthcoming activities for the regions and their stakeholders
- Give an overview of the Call for expression of interest for new partnerships (cut off date 30 September 2023), as well as the guidance document
- Feature a dedicated Q&A session to provide specific support for the application process, and
- present the benefits and opportunities of interregional collaboration including best practices from existing partnerships
The information session will be held on 15 September from 15:00 to ca 16:30 CET
