WestMED Italy and Algeria will actively participate at this event. At 13:30 Leonardo Manzari (WestMED Italy) will be part of the panel on Martime Clusters

ABEC is an international Mediterranean event that brings together key stakeholders from Algeria and the Western Mediterranean region to explore innovative and sustainable solutions across various maritime sectors.

These sectors include shipbuilding, hydraulic resources, sustainable fishing and aquaculture, maritime transport, marine biodiversity, and renewable energy in maritime spaces.
Under the joint patronage of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises, as well as the Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energy, this edition will feature conferences, round tables, and workshops led by national and international experts. Participants will address both current and future challenges in developing a sustainable and innovative blue economy, with a strong emphasis on promoting cooperation on innovation, environmental conservation, and long-term sustainability.

This major event will bring together key players from across the Mediterranean region, including our partners from the CALLMEBLUE – Cluster Alliance Med Blue , co-funded by the European Union.
