Event update 06.04.2020
Due to the on-going situation with coronavirus/COVID-19, the event “The Business of Clean Shipping” has been transferred online!
As there has been a great interest in attending “The Business of Clean Shipping” conference, which was supposed to be held at The Danish Maritime Fair, we proudly invite you for our first online conference allowing you to do your cyber networking with an even more international participant list! See below for more information!
With an increasing demand for clean shipping solutions from customers and regulators, business, as usual, is not an option. The IMO has adopted targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% by 2050, with the ambition of striving for zero-emission.
The Business of Clean Shipping event focuses on the ways digital solutions contribute contribute to gains in operational efficiency, emissions and return of investment. Furthermore, the Njord Project, which is a collaboration between Cargill, Maersk Tankers and Mitsui & Co. – aimed at lowering maritime GHG emissions through existing fuel-saving technologies and exploring new technical solutions will be presented. Participants will also learn about how collaboration can be a catalyst for commercially viable green shipping and you’ll bring back home a new cost-benefit model for assessing different clean shipping investments.
