WestMED-Atlantic France Workshop: Services and Cooperation Opportunities Benefiting the Blue Economy | 5 February 2026 | Marseille

On 5 November 2026, The French National Hub for the WestMED and the Atlantic will organise an interactive workshop at Euromaritime 2026 in Marseille, focused on products and services benefitting the blue economy and cooperation at national level – where stakeholders will dive into practical tools, policy updates, and project matchmaking to accelerate sustainable maritime development.

This workshop brings together three complementary dimensions:

France’s role within maritime basin strategies for the Western Mediterranean and the Atlantic
an overview of products and services for the blue economy serving national stakeholders, and
related prospects for cooperation in each basin.

The event will foster dialogue between operators and end users to identify mutually beneficial synergies, while also addressing emerging financing challenges and the link between national and regional initiatives in response to the European Oceans Pact.

The programme will feature Isabelle Perret (DGAMPA), Frédérick Herpers (National Hub for the WestMED and Atlantic), Bénédocte Ezvan (Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique) and Philippe Monbet (Pôle Mer Mediterranéé).
