Marine Technology Centre is going to carry out the first Summit on underwater noise management in Spain.

On March 14, 2023 we will gather international experts in underwater noise and its environmental impact at CTN facilities in Cartagena.

We will share practical information on the latest legislative developments in noise management, the technological challenges we face and the latest initiatives to reduce noise pollution and preserve healthy marine environments.

At the Summit we will show tools, guidelines and methodologies so that shipowners, shipping companies, shipyards, ports, engineering companies, researchers, administration technicians, environmental service companies, among others, can address underwater noise management in a practical way.

The Summit is organised in 4 round table sessions where we aim to show the different perspectives on the issue from administrations, the industry, academy, and citizens.
