The WestMED National Hub in Libya, in collaboration with the Marine Biology Society of Libya, is pleased to host a one-day awareness and educational campaign titled “Protect Our Coast, Sustain Our Tourism.”

Set against the backdrop of Libya’s coastal heritage and natural beauty, this initiative aims to foster public understanding of marine environmental challenges and promote sustainable tourism practices along the Hamama coast.

Event Highlights
Participants will engage in a series of interactive and informative activities designed to:

• – Raise awareness about marine pollution and coastal degradation
• – Encourage community involvement in conservation efforts
• – Showcase sustainable tourism as a tool for environmental protection
