The Oeiras Bluetech Ocean Forum 2026 is an international event focused on advancing innovation, science, technology, investment, and entrepreneurship in the blue economy.

Held on 15–16 June 2026 in Oeiras, Portugal, as part of the broader Global Oeiras Ocean Days 2026 program, the forum brings together policymakers, researchers, investors, startups, corporations, and maritime organizations to explore emerging opportunities in ocean-related industries.

A central theme is the international launch and promotion of Hub Azul Portugal, a national network designed to accelerate ocean innovation, strengthen links between science and business, and support the commercialization of marine technologies.

Across two days of keynote presentations, panel discussions, startup pitches, technology demonstrations, and networking sessions, the forum showcases developments in areas such as ocean observation, blue biotechnology, offshore renewable energy, maritime digitalization, sustainable finance, and innovation infrastructure.

The program highlights Portugal’s growing role as a global bluetech hub, featuring investment trends, public-private partnerships, international cooperation initiatives, and success stories from startups and innovation centers.
