The Turning Blue project invites stakeholders across the Blue Economy, employment, and social inclusion ecosystems to join an upcoming webinar focused on strengthening pathways to inclusive youth employment.
This webinar will bring together employers, maritime stakeholders, training providers, and organisations working on youth reintegration to explore how inclusive employment pathways can be effectively developed within the Blue Economy.
Building on earlier discussions within the Turning Blue initiative, the webinar will offer a practical, employer-oriented perspective on integrating vulnerable and justice-involved young people into maritime sectors.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain insights into employer perspectives, including key needs, concerns, and barriers when engaging with disadvantaged youth
- Explore practical approaches and collaboration models between industry and reintegration actors
- Learn how mentorship and structured support mechanisms can enable sustainable workforce integration
