On October 2, 2025,  The Maritime Cluster Alliance will organise a workshop titled: ‘The development factor of the Mediterranean Maritime Cluster Ecosystem, and the Valorization of Territorial Vocations’

The ways to convey an acceleration in Sustainable Blue Economy in the Mediterranean basin, as well as in the other ones, may differ from case to case, but the capacity to comprehend them in a joint effort towards common goals is a WestMED achievement.

During the workshop many leading experts will explore the role of clusters in scaling up sustianble blue economy initiatives across the Mediterranean. Topics range from funding programmes and water management to incubation and acceleration – including the role of the EU Sea Basins Technical Assistance.

This workshop is takes place at SeaFuture 2025. SeaFuture 2025 is a major international exhibition and conference held at the La Spezia Naval Base in Italy, showcasing innovative technologies and solutions in the maritime, defense, and Blue Economy sectors, and serving as a global platform for networking, collaboration, and sustainable growth from September 29 to October 2, 2025

The Maritime Cluster Alliance will also be present with a stand where visitors can learn more about their work.
