The workshop aims to raise awareness about the opportunities and benefits of cluster networks, especially for newly established Blue Economy Clusters.

Bringing together a diverse audience of researchers, academia,industry, NGOs, institutions, and other stakeholders, the event will highlight how clusters can drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and international collaboration across key sectors such as fisheries, tourism, ports, and transport.

Through presentations, member testimonials, and interactive discussions, participants will explore best practices, skills development, and concrete advantages of active cluster participation. The workshop will also leverage the expertise and network of Cluster BIG, Federazione del Mare, and the WESTMED Clusters Alliance to connect local initiatives with broader international ecosystems.

The event will also aim to foster bilateral collaboration by encouraging the creation of dedicated working groups to develop joint agendas and project ideas, providing technical assistance through the expertise of Cluster BIG, Federazione del Mare and Libyan Maritime Cluster.
