The city of Oran is hosting the 10th edition of the International Fisheries and Aquaculture Exhibition (SIPA 2025) from 6 to 9 November, under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Organized by Algeria’s Ministry of Agriculture and the National Chamber of Fisheries and Aquaculture, this landmark event brings together 179 exhibitors from 17 countries, including Spain, Italy, Turkey, Tunisia, and the Sultanate of Oman—this year’s guest of honour.

With the theme “Fisheries and Aquaculture: Innovation and Partnerships,” SIPA 2025 aims to spotlight sustainable marine development, regional cooperation, and investment opportunities across the Mediterranean and Africa.

A Platform for Partnerships, Innovation, and Youth Engagement SIPA 2025 features a dynamic programme of technical workshops, scientific conferences, B2B meetings, and exhibitions from over 35 start-ups. International organizations such as the FAO, GFCM, and WestMED Initiative are actively participating, reinforcing the event’s global relevance. Special focus is placed on youth entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and the modernization of maritime value chains. Field visits, including aboard the scientific vessel “Grine Belkacem,” offer hands-on insights into Algeria’s marine research capabilities. SIPA 2025 stands as a strategic platform for fostering Arab-African cooperation and driving sustainable growth in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
