CALLMEBLUE Regional Meeting – Shaping the Future of Mediterranean Maritime Clusters | 24 February 2026 | Rome – Online

24 February 2026 - 24 February 2026

The CALLMEBLUE project invites Mediterranean maritime clusters, policymakers, innovators and regional actors to a pivotal Regional Meeting dedicated to strengthening North–South and South–South cooperation across the Mediterranean blue economy.

This hybrid event will bring together the full CALLMEBLUE consortium, emerging and advanced clusters, and key regional partners to co‑design a long‑term Roadmap for a Mediterranean Cluster Alliance, building on the foundations of the WestMED Cluster Alliance and aligned with UfM priorities.

Participants will work collectively to:

  • Advance the Maghreb Maritime Cluster Strategy (MMCS) and define concrete next steps for its Roadmap for Implementation.
  • Identify cluster services, capacity‑building actions and innovation‑boosting mechanisms to support emerging clusters across the southern shore.
  • Explore opportunities for joint projects, technology transfer, open innovation and shared programmes across the Mediterranean ecosystem.
  • Translate CALLMEBLUE’s piloting results into a sustainable cooperation model that accelerates blue‑economy innovation in line with the EU Ocean Pact and the UfM Ministerial Declaration.

The morning will feature two interactive workshops, open discussions, and contributions from regional and national actors, followed by a synthesis session to consolidate key elements for a long‑term Regional Alliance.
