The TunSea association, in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, invites you to a half-day event dedicated to start-ups and innovative initiatives in Tunisia’s blue economy.

On the programme: presentations, networking and advocacy to turn the challenges of the sea into concrete opportunities  – sustainable fishing and aquaculture, coastal technologies, marine clean-up, resource recovery and much more.

Overall objective
To provide start-ups and innovative initiatives in the blue economy with a platform offering national visibility, enabling them to present their solutions to institutional decision-makers and funders, and to engage in direct dialogue regarding their integration into national maritime development strategies.

Specific objectives:

• to showcase innovative blue economy solutions to an institutional and professional audience;
• to facilitate direct dialogue between start-ups, government representatives, public agencies and donors;
• to produce and formally present a memorandum of recommendations for the integration of blue economy solutions into national strategies;
• to raise awareness among decision-makers and the media of the economic significance and potential of the blue economy.
