AZA4ICE Transnational Event | 8-9 July 2026 | Tangier, Morocco
08 July 2026 - 09 July 2026
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Tangier, this AZA4ICE transnational event brings together voices from across the Mediterranean to explore a shared vision for sustainable and circular aquaculture.
Two Shores, One Blue Future is more than a conference. It is a space for dialogue, collaboration, and forward thinking solutions connecting Europe and Morocco through a common commitment to the blue economy.
Over two days, participants will engage with leading experts, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working at the intersection of aquaculture, sustainability, and innovation.
The program combines keynote insights, project highlights, and interactive discussions that reflect both regional realities and transnational opportunities. From exploring the current state and challenges of aquaculture in Morocco to showcasing collaborative initiatives and the results of the AZA4ICE project, the event creates a bridge between knowledge and action.
Roundtable exchanges will play a central role, encouraging open conversation on future pathways, shared challenges, and opportunities for cooperation between the northern and southern shores of the Mediterranean. The agenda is designed to foster meaningful connections, both professional and personal, through dedicated networking moments and informal exchanges.
The experience extends beyond the conference setting with a technical visit offering participants a closer look at aquaculture practices in the region, grounding discussions in real world application.
Ultimately, this event aims to strengthen partnerships, inspire innovation, and contribute to building a more resilient, circular, and sustainable aquaculture sector across the Mediterranean and beyond.
