Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will host the first‑ever Atlantic–WestMED Stakeholder Conference on 16 September 2026, bringing together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs, youth organisations and project leaders from both sea basins to turn cooperation into concrete action .

The day before, a set of side events will kick off early networking and deeper exchanges, paving the way for two highly interactive days of plenaries, thematic sessions, showcases and the cross‑basin hackathon designed to co‑create new project ideas and explore funding pathways under EMFAF, Interreg and Horizon Europe .

The conference will also highlight standout initiatives through the Atlantic–WestMED Project Awards, offering visibility to impactful work across both sea basins.

Interpretation in EN, ES and FR will be available for all plenary sessions on the day of the conference, ensuring broad participation and seamless cross‑basin dialogue.
