Aquaserv Fisheries call for access to research facilities | Deadline 4 December 2026
The AQUASERV Transnational and Virtual Access call focuses on providing funded access to high-end European research infrastructures. Applicants are expected to leverage these cutting-edge facilities, instruments, customized scientific services, and data tools to conduct innovative research addressing key scientific and management challenges in sustainable fisheries, aquaculture, ecological restoration, and the blue economy.
Why It Matters
Access to specialized research infrastructures is often costly and fragmented across regions. By offering funded transnational (on-site or remote) and virtual access to world-class facilities, AQUASERV lowers the barrier for scientific innovation. This accelerates data-driven research needed to support major European frameworks—such as the Common Fisheries Policy, the Farm to Fork Strategy, and the European Green Deal—while promoting sustainable fisheries management and marine ecosystem restoration.
Who Should Apply
Researchers, scientific teams, and innovators from academic institutions, research organizations, and industry (including SMEs and private entities) across Europe and international partner countries who require access to specialized marine, freshwater, or food-science research infrastructures to advance their fisheries or marine research projects.
